Description
The Lovechild of a Grey Wulff & French Partridge - 2 of the most successful mayfly patterns on the chalk rivers. I wanted a fly that combined my favourite elements of both. This fly works throughout the Mayfly lifecycle, taken damp as a failed emerger, floating high as a dun and later in the hatch towards the evening as a spinner or spent. If I had to fish with only 1 mayfly pattern, this would be it.
