The Boofhead is a custom-built lead slider flasher rig perfect for mid to bottom water column reef fishing. It features an oversized 10mm eye on each side, which imitates a real bait fish or squid as well as glow hook flashers for ultimate visibility. This versatile rig is most effective when kept vertical to the boat and slowly retrieved a few times then released to bottom and repeated, causing the lure to “dance”. It can also be used by leaving the rod in a rod holder and letting the boat do all the work.
