Description
A realistic imitation of the familiar and common Baetis, a.k.a. the Blue Wing Olive, trout fly pattern. When it comes to selective trout, it helps to have a few versions of the Baetis pattern. This BWO Dun imitation features a realistic dun wing and dun colored hackles palmered off the sides and bottom of the fly. The tail is a V-split tail and the body is quill wrapped to present a natural segmentation of a mayfly's abdomen.
