A small minnow-style brush jig for panfish and crappie around brush piles, docks, and other cover. Fish it with light line using short casts or vertical presentations, and let it fall naturally before giving it subtle twitches or lifts.

Pros

  • Useful around cover where a small baitfish look shines

Cons

  • Single small hook can be less forgiving on hard hooksets
  • Lightweight profile may be harder to cast in wind
