A hi-vis caddis dry fly for trout fishing when adult caddis are active or trout are feeding on the surface. The visible post helps track the fly in riffles, broken water, and low-light conditions. Fish it dead-drifted or with a slight twitch to imitate a natural adult caddis.

Cons

  • Less effective when trout are feeding subsurface
  • Can be hard to see in glare if the post is small
