Bird Of Prey October Caddis

Fishing the fall caddis hatch isn’t just about the dry flies! Much like other times of year, fish continue to key on subsurface flies in fall which makes the October caddis nymph a mainstay in the fly box. The sheer size of this caddis nymph makes it a bit different than usual patterns, but no less effective! It pairs beautifully with the October dry if you’re fishing skinny water, and is heavy enough to be a point fly in a three nymph rig.
