Use an Omorig-style sinker on a leader/rig to help your bait sink quickly and stay in the strike zone. Thread it onto the line/rig as intended by the rig design, then cast and let it drop before working the bait.

Pros

  • Helps get bait down quickly
  • Big-eye design for secure rigging

Cons

  • May be less effective in very shallow, slow-sinking setups
  • Requires correct rigging to avoid line twist
