Description

The Blockhouse concept places the emphasis firmly on comfort, compared to traditional bivvy designs that are better suited to shorter sessions and more mobile angling. When you are fishing the same swim for 48 hours or more - whether at a holiday venue or in swims booked well in advance - the Blockhouse is the 1 Man XL or 2 Man bivvy of choice. The rectangular frame maximises usable internal space and, with a generous apex height of 205cm, allows you to stand upright to wash, change clothes, stretch, and spend time comfortably - rather than being bent over or cramped inside a more traditional bivvy. Using the same continuous frame design as the Bank Life Gazebo range, there are no poles to locate or connect. The frame extends to lock the Speed Up joints securely into place, resulting in a fast erect yet incredibly strong shelter. The proven twin-leg design delivers outstanding resilience in extreme conditions where single-pole shelters repeatedly fail. The Blockhouse comfortably fits a Wide or Emperor sleep system with ample remaining space or can accommodate two Standard sleep systems with 80cm between them, allowing it to double as a true 2 Man bivvy. Now featuring a cross-framed porch system for improved protection from the elements, along with ventilation panels on all sides and a continuous seal heavy duty groundsheet, the Blockhouse creates an effective barrier against unwanted snakes, spiders, or rats—making it one of the most practical and versatile bivvies ever designed.
