Description

The 7" CPF Thumper Pro utilizes our proprietary blend soft plastic with incredible durability and action. The Thumper Pro is the perfect magnum-sized bait for swimming weightless or with a bullet weight through the weeds, reeds, lily pads, over hydrilla or even in open water. We call this swimming "speed" worm the Thumper, due to the action the tail makes when pulled through the water, even when fished slowly. The action of the tail is subtle and dramatic at the same time. We designed this bait to last! No more casting tails off as with many of the competitor's brands. Highly recommended product NINEX Braid: The best braid on the market . How to fish the Thumper Pro Magnum Speed Worm ? We designed the Thumper Pro with gaped ridges that allow you to cut or "chop" the bait down to match the bait fish size you are trying to mimic. Running a chopped Thumper Pro with a 1/4 oz Burnt Tungsten bullet weight and 4/0 or 5/0 EWG hook is the most common way to fish it. Typically a slow retrieval with at least 45 lb braid on a 7'3" Heavy Fast tip rod. Or, rig it weightless to burn it across emergent vegetation.

A magnum speed worm for swimming weightless or with a bullet weight through weeds, reeds, lily pads, hydrilla, and open water. Best on a slow retrieve when you want a subtle tail-thumping action, or rig it weightless to burn across emergent vegetation.

Pros

  • Durable soft plastic blend designed to resist tail loss
  • Versatile rigging: weightless or with a bullet weight
  • Works well around vegetation and open water

Cons

  • Large profile may be too much for pressured fish
