Field Notes

Rig the 6" lizard on a jig head or Texas/offset hook and work it with short hops and pauses so it crawls and flutters like a small reptile/larval bait. Use it around cover (rock, wood, weeds edges) and adjust weight so it stays near the bottom or just above it.
