This is a spinner-style offshore rig used to add flash and vibration while trolling or slow-trolling. It can be run behind a planer, downrigger, or as part of a spread when targeting pelagic fish in open water.

Pros

Cons

  • Not a standalone lure with much action on its own
  • May be less effective in very clear, calm conditions
